Greek Housing

College Pointe Properties understands the time commitments a house corporation, advisory committee and undergraduate chapter must spend administering the daily operations of a chapter house. Several of these activities require a large amount of time and effort which often lead to a decrease in alumni involvement. These activities usually include:

  • Distributing, collecting and storing lease agreements
  • Collecting rent
  • Scheduling repairs
  • Preparing a yearly budget
  • Paying the monthly bills
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Fielding calls from undergraduate residents and parents

Tack these responsibilities on your daily commitments of family, work and friends and it’s no surprise that alumni house corporations and advisory committees have a hard time attracting and keeping talented alumni to help the chapter grow. Let us help! We can manage some or all of your property management needs depending on what you need assistance with. There are several benefits to having a third party manage your property:

  • It allows you to focus on larger projects instead of the administrative details while we provide you the financial reports you need to make important business decisions
  • You can take advantage of negotiate prices for waste removal, cable, internet, fire safety equipment and other utility and repair services
  • Monitor yearly maintenance requirements such as fire inspections, fire extinguishers, emergency exit lights and emergency exit signs, making sure you are compliant before the undergraduate residents moves in
  • Our reports provide up-to-date financial information to help you make business decisions (i.e. should we increase rent, how much are we spending on repairs, etc)
  • We invoice the chapter members for damage to the property instead of paying for these out of the operating funds
  • We monitor housing costs around the university as well as other fraternity houses so you can remain competitive
  • We have established business relationships with local collection agencies to pursue delinquent accounts if that becomes necessary

We understand the financial restrictions of running a chapter house so we have established relationships with local service vendors, food service providers, and utility companies to save money and deliver the service you need to create an environment that college men and women will want to be a part of.

For more information please contact College Pointe Properties. We want to meet you and your house corporation, advisory committee and undergraduate members to discuss the benefit of having College Pointe Properties manage your fraternity house.
